Attention to pathological tissue film reading

Pathological slicing machines must pay strict attention to some issues when slicing, in order to draw better conclusions and data.

1. Observation of slices generally requires careful observation from the naked eye to low magnification to high magnification.

2. Visually observe the size, morphology, structure, and staining of tissue blocks on slices

3. Low magnification microscopy mainly observes the tissue structure of the lesion.

(1) Observation method: Substantial organs are generally observed layer by layer from the outside (capsule side) to the inside, while hollow organs are observed layer by layer from the inside out. Continuously observe each field in order to avoid missing small lesions.

(2) Observations:

① Based on histological knowledge, determine which organ tissue it is.

② Compare the lesion with normal tissue and determine its nature.

4. Observe the microstructure of the lesion cells under high-power microscopy.
