Shiyan Taihe Hospital ranked 5th in the 2019 national tertiary public hospital performance ranking in Hubei Province and 8th in the top 100 hospitals in prefecture level cities nationwide. The hospital was founded in 1965 by Wuhan Medical College (now Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) and has a strong influence in Hubei Province.

On July 20, 2022, Kuohai Technology won the bid for Taihe Hospital (project number: TH2B-SB-2022-024) with the KH-TK double hanging basket and automatic tissue dehydration machine. The Kuohai Technology double basket dehydrator can run two batches of tissues simultaneously. One dehydrator is equivalent to two dehydrators (and only uses the reagents of one dehydrator), which not only saves reagents but also separates the sizes of tissues with different dehydration time and program requirements, playing an excellent role in tissue dehydration.
